Last summer we collaborated with a great team, headed by Ari of ARJ Productions, on a fun wedding styled shoot featuring cotton candy as inspiration and a main design element. We were so excited to see this shoot featured on District Weddings, and today we're sharing more of our favorite images from this shoot.

Ari shares her inspiration for this concept:

"Life is serious enough. That’s what inspired us to infuse a fun and whimsical element into our styled shoot for this “Pour Some Sugar On Me” themed wedding. Cotton candy is not only a delicious childhood treat, it also looks vibrant and beautiful as a bridal bouquet for our elegant bride. Our floral design was created to resemble soft, fluffy cotton candy with full and lush blooms in an array of variations of pink hues and textures. Our table scape combined a palette of varying pinks with touches of rich gold in our flatware and glassware. Our invitation suite and custom menus used graphics and subtle pinks and blues to resemble cotton candy. A myriad of all types of candles mixed with the abundant floral design of pink roses, garden roses and hydrangeas to add a touch of elegance and romance to this cotton candy themed wedding. Our bride wore a unique layered lace bridal gown provided by Boutique by B Belle with a plunging neckline and sheer back. The hairstyle we selected was a soft, overflowing bun on top of our bride’s head to resemble a puffy look like cotton candy. Our bride had muted, natural make up with pink cheeks and lips to coordinate with our color scheme. Vintage furniture and hand scripted signs added another element to our shoot with unique touches that complimented our theme."
