Intimate Autumn Wedding at Woodend Sanctuary: Mian and David
Mian and David planned a simple but elegant, early fall wedding at Woodend Sanctuary. I love all the green spaces available for portraits at this historic venue, pretty at almost any time of the year. We started the day with a first look on the balcony overlooking the grounds before a tented wedding ceremony with the bride and groom’s closest loved ones. I love the lace bridal jacket that Mian wore for the wedding ceremony, covering her beautiful strapless ballgown for a second bridal look on wedding day.
The tented space was transformed after the ceremony for a seated dinner with simple decor including pink and red flowers and gold accents. But my favorite part of Mian and David’s wedding day- and one that I have not seen before- is the karaoke wedding reception set up in the ballroom after dinner. What fun to have family and friends all take turns with their favorite songs. It was a truly unique detail and I love when couples make their wedding day so personalized.
