My Experience with Roots Worshop

Around the studio I'm known as "Elisha-the-Album-Designer". Although I love what I do during the week, on the weekends and every spare moment in between, I'm a photographer. Recently I participated in the Roots Workshop in Cape Cod, Massachusetts to help me fine-tune my photography skills. Shortly after I arrived I realized that this workshop was going to kick my butt and it certainly did! During that week I learned many valuable lessons and was challenged in many different ways. After shooting my first wedding since the workshop I can tell that Roots helped redirect my artistic eye, and I feel really good about it!

My Roots assignment was the College Light Opera Company. An independent nonprofit educational theatre who performs Broadway stock musicals to summer audiences on Cape Cod. This group of individuals were just charming and it was a pleasure to spend two days documenting a day in the life of the CLOC. Take a look at the slide show below which is a compilation of images from my assignment.

A Summer of Song

I'd like to say a special thank you to everyone at Roots who helped to make the workshop an amazing experience. Also, a special thanks to Love Life Images where I've always been encouraged to grow and express myself as an artist.

Truly Inspired,

Elisha
