Wedding Photography Advice: Veils

I just love veils- for very selfish reasons. They make it interesting and present some unique opportunities for my photos. It’s for this reason that my advice is that IF you are considering a veil, go for it. It may look like just a piece of fabric when it is hanging, but put it on and everything changes. Ok, I’ll admit it, they can be a bit of a hassle. Guests are always tugging on it when they hug you,  they blow around in the wind a lot and generally are a little bit of a pain to manage, but I promise you, it’s worth it. Most brides are ready to rip the veil out right after the ceremony, but check out Caitlin’s photos below. She kept the veil on through dinner and took it off for dancing. I never would have gotten the photo of her veil trailing behind her as she walks back up toward River Farm. As always, this is just my opinion and the best thing to do is what makes YOU happy.
