Loss of Arthur Remanjon

We received this from Brian Slanger yesterday: Slanger_070329_9940.CR2

Words cannot express the loss of a tremendous human being whose name was Arthur Remanjon.

Arthur was 'bigger than life' and as one person noted, 'you always knew when Arthur was in the room: he lit up a room with his personality, depth, and warmth.'

Arthur was tragically killed on his motorcycle on the night of Wednesday, September 2nd.

He was my closest friend, and he will so dearly missed.

I believe that he went happy.  He was at the top of his game with his career, was very much in love with his new partner Margeux, and never lacked for a love of life. I do not know the details yet of the accident, which apparently took place on University Parkway.

Arthur's Sister will be working together along with his office manger Laurent, his primary 2nd shooter Phil, his bookkeeper and myself to do what we can to maintain his reputation as an outstanding photographer.

At this time, no funeral arrangements have been made, but I will try to pass the word when I find out more details.

The photograph of Arthur on top of the red rocks of the Southwest during a trip he and I took there to a WPPI conference in some ways says it all.

Good bye my friend.  I know you are happy.
