Peabody Library Baltimore Wedding: Dana + Dave

We had so much fun photographing this wedding, it really brings home the feeling that I get to do what I love for a living. I like to think that couples can see us as being “in their corner,” but Dana and Dave really invited us right into the center of their emotional day. When we caught the magically appearing snowfall in the Sagamore Pendry’s courtyard, we caught on to the emotional fulcrum of the day. Taking photos in the gorgeous long stairwell at the Pendry, and then finally the Peabody Library flowed, for me, from that first moment with the snow.

Shooting in Peabody is always a treat. (It is truly the library of my dreams.) I think we caught some of the grandeur of the place. Nonetheless, I remember being particularly happy to see the moment when Dana’s father leans over to her during his remarks and the look in Dana’s eyes as she faced Dave during their vows. They had a wonderful time, and I didn’t want to miss any of it.
