Dumbarton House Wedding: Callie and Billy

Callie & Billy were married under rainy skies in DC. Despite the weather, their smiles couldn’t have been bigger and the love couldn’t have been greater!

While the rain might scare some brides away, not Callie, who after getting ready and doing the first look at her mom’s house, put on her pink rain boots and hiked up her dress. Together with Billy, they walked to Christ Church where Callie was baptized and grew up going to. Along the way, they visited the streets and house where Callie was born and raised, while talking about the day and life ahead. Callie’s love of flowers really showed in the decorations - both the church & reception were decorated with abundant white, pink and rare green blooms with touches of foliage, in-keeping with their colors. Their wedding cake was cupcakes from Baked and Wired Cupcakes where their first date took place. One of the many high points of the evening was Billy’s performance of country songs that Callie loves. It was seriously epic! Their wedding was truly a great celebration of family, friends, love and life! I am thankful to have been a part of such a genuinely lovely day.
