Jenn and Tiffany's DC Courthouse Wedding
My husband Ethan has known Jennifer and Tiffany since college and counts Jennifer among his best friends. I’ve known Jennifer and Tiffany since our own wedding and really enjoy seeing them as a couple and now as a family. I photographed several major events in their lives, including their daughter, Sophie, so when they told me they were making their marriage official in the District of Columbia, I volunteered to shoot the event. I knew that although they have been committed for 11 years, getting the paper from the District of Columbia was going to be significant. I’m thrilled to have witnessed it and to have been able to document it. Love is a wonderful thing that transcends and comes in all forms. I am thankful to Tiffany and Jenn for letting me document this moment for them. This was the only photo from the lobby before they yelled at me for taking photos….whoops!
Can some fabulous wedding designer PLEASE consult with the courthouse on their wedding decor?:

It’s at this moment that I actually lose it every time:
Sophie checks over the paperwork to be sure it meets her approval:
YAY!!!
We decided it was fitting to have a few photos in front of the Capital Building:
Later that evening, we joined Tiffany and Jenn and their families and friends for an intimate dinner at Catonsville Gourmet.
Tiffany’s sister Michelle put all the sweet little details together:
Just love you guys!
