Mayflower Hotel Wedding: Priya and Farid

Priya and Farid have a story that Hollywood would swoon over. The two grew up next door to each other. No, really. I mean their families could yell out their window to each other in a quiet neighborhood right near the Washington International School. They weren't just neighbors, they were friends, too. They spent holidays and vacations together and shared cultural traditions. It's no wonder these two are so well matched. They were married at the Mayflower Hotel in DC with all the traditions of a beautiful Hindu wedding. The baraat was held right outside the Mayflower Hotel on the street and was met with great excitement by guests. (Love this tradition!) It was such an honor to document this family, their joining and the celebration that surrounded them. Congrats!
