District Winery Winter Wedding: Maty + Scott
I had the pleasure of getting to know Maty and Scott on a lovely spring day last year as I photographed their engagement portraits in DC. It was during the peak cherry blossom bloom and they were good sports about the early session as we had to start at first light that morning to avoid the hoards of cherry blossom tourists. We had a chance to chat about their upcoming plans and I couldn't wait to see all the gorgeous details Maty was dreaming up for the big day at District Winery. Six months later on a beautiful and surprisingly warm winter day, Maty and Scott's wedding had finally arrived. I was blown away by all the thoughtful details they incorporated and I also fell in love with their friends and family that surrounded them. There was so much laughter, shenanigans, and teamwork to ensure Maty and Scott’s day went smoothly. A perfect example of this is the photo below where Maty and Scott's family worked to get all the guests out on the terrace for a group photo of the entire wedding. Well done! I'm so happy Maty and Scott chose me to photograph this amazing day. Congrats, you two!
