Lincoln's Cottage Wedding: Diana and Logan
Diana and Logan met playing Ultimate Frisbee, and they got married at Lincoln's Cottage. I think that's a range of activities that provides some insight into their beautiful partnership. Intellectual and playful, and everything in between. They were so clearly into each other, I could easily get them to forget the camera when they were together, even though, in general, they are a bit camera shy.
Diana and Logan wed on the back porch of Lincoln's Cottage, a natural stage that they made festive with flowers, music, and a beautiful chuppah hand-made just for them. Beforehand, they signed the ketubah upstairs where Lincoln drafted the Emancipation Proclamation. I thought it was beautiful to see Diana and Logan sign their marriage contract in a place where Lincoln created a document that changed the world for the better.
At the reception, people found their seats by grabbing the appropriate postcard from a line. These had been collected for years by the couple, and now were an invitation to bring everyone together. The toasts were heartfelt, the dancing without a care. Towards the end of the evening, friends began playing with their wedding favors--frisbees from Diana and Logan. It was the perfect send-off gift.
