Venue Recap: Park Hyatt DC
After years of photographing some of the most amazing weddings in the DMV, our team has decided to look back at some of our favorite images from our favorite venues. First up, the beautiful Park Hyatt Hotel in DC. We have always had a wonderful experience shooting weddings here. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to both the wedding couple and their vendors. The bridal suite is gorgeous and full of natural light, allowing for beautiful getting ready photos. There are a multitude of interesting backgrounds, both inside and outside to create amazing portraits. And the location is great- only about 10 minutes away from monuments like the Lincoln Memorial, which are always popular and fun for bridal party photos.
We love this landing in between the first and second floors to do "First Looks". There is a lot of natural light and long, clean lines to make for gorgeous images.
The garage area and alleyway next to the hotel offer great industrial backdrops for portraits:
